Tall Ships America® Lifetime Achievement Award goes to…
San Pedro resident Nancy Richardson
It was announced in a press release on March 12, 2014 that Nancy Richardson received the 2013 Lifetime Achievement Award from Tall Ships America at their national conference in February. She has been involved with tall ships, sail training and youth programs since her days as a Mariner Girl Scout.
Los Angeles Maritime Institute (LAMI) held a reception honoring her on Sunday, March 16th aboard the SSV Irving Johnson. Deck tours were available.
