Save the Date for Tall Ships® Festival Los Angeles 2014 – August 20-24, 2014 at the San Pedro Waterfront in the Los Angeles Harbor. It’s an event not to be missed, featuring the Irving Johnson and Exy Johnson – LA’s Official Tall Ships.The festival will run for five days, from Aug. 20-Aug. 23, throughout the main channel. A parade of sail will help kick off the Tall Ship Festival, which will feature day sails, food, live music and several historic vessels. From the LAMI Spring Newsletter – Not since 2008 have a large number of tall ships descended on Los Angeles. Please mark August 20-24 on your calendars and join the event on Facebook to get festival updates. This event will be a LAMI “all hands” event with lots of exciting and innovative elements. We are working behind the scenes to develop a very cool program that we can hopefully repeat year after year and will involve FUN for the whole community.
